Maya Hall: Bonampak

Outdoors as part of the Maya Hall exhibit are reconstructions of several Maya buildings. Directly related to the sites we saw on the MAA tour was the reconstruction of the Mural Building in Bonampak. It was fun to "revisit" the site, but without the drives through the jungle to get to it, much less impressive! (And we have a great preference for originals in general.)

The reconstruction, at ground level, rather than at the top of stone stairs.
